In anticipation of the upcoming Lenten season, a friend and I are contemplating a blog. We would follow the lectionary, speak from two very different perspectives, try and carry on a conversation about faith that encompasses our sometimes differing world view, anecdotes, cute pictures of people and cats. etc.

The format will be to follow the lectionary of our denomination - PC(USA) - and offer our thoughts, hopes for the world, understanding of scripture and to do so in a way that is true to both of us and also of interest to anyone who happens upon us.

Are these extravagant promises? We think not!
